Andhra Pradesh Govt. To Put 10 Lakh EVs by 2024
Andhra Pradesh Government has announced that it has to put over 10 lakh Electric Vehicles on roads over the span of next 5 years. Also no petrol or diesel cars will be registered by 2024.
Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu in Energy Innovation Summit 2019 said that step of not registering ICE car will be implemented in Amravati, under construction state capital.
It is expected that the investment of INR 30,000 crore after the state's new EV policy arrival and also govt. has announced state grant of INR 500 EV &RD.
